Since 1917, Hartford Memorial Baptist Church has been making a difference in the lives of the people of Detroit. We are in the world on assignment from God to represent God's truth, God's sense of justice and God's perfect love.

A wide variety of life changing services are available to our community, such as our Hartford Agape “Love” House, which is a social service agency. We also offer to the world our Stephen Ministries, which is a program that teaches how Christ cares for people through others. Stephen Ministries' vision is to teach people to model themselves after Jesus' response to those in need by loving, listening, and caring for them.
