The Resource Center & Bookstore has been busy expanding our inventory, to delight our customers.  We have added more gift items, contemporary books, for all ages, as well as a greater variety of Bibles and Study Guides.  We now carry movies [DVD's] and spoken word CD's.  Our classic toys, games and edcational materials, continue to be a hit.  We continue to support out local authors, artists and entrepreneurs.  And our selections on-line are also growing.  Our incentives offer something to allow everyone to experience additional savings, on our already low prices.  We do special orders, as well.

The Resource Center also has an on-going quiz, in the Sunday Bulletin.  This is your opportunity to demonstrate what you have learned, during Sunday School, and win prizes in the process.

Easter will be here before you know.  And we will, again, have our great customer-made baskets, with items for every age and budget.

April is Poetry/Spoken Word month, and the Resource Center is sponsoring a great program, Sunday, April 29, 2012 at 4:00 p.m., in the Chapel.  Detroit's Poet Laureate, Naomi Long Madgett, will be the featured speaker.

It's not too early to think about graduation gifts.  The Resource Center has unique merchandise - Perfect for graduates, of all ages.

The Resource Center will also be headquarters for Hartford's new team for the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Saturday, May 26, 2012.  We are looking to have the largest new team.  Recruit your family and friends, to walk with us. Stop in the Resource Center for an application, or sign-up on-line via the church website.  We are still in the process of determining a team name and logo.
